The Charles and Salome Reymann Foundation proudly announce a co-sponsorship with the Northern Ohio Golf Charities of a new pontoon boat for the Akron Rotary Camp.
The camp is a project of the Akron Rotary, and serves over 1800 children and adults with disabilities and their families on an annual basis.
The programs and support offered to individuals with disabilities at the Rotary Camp are remarkable and completely aligned with the mission of our organization. The facilities and amenities are beautiful, from the cabins to the gathering hall to the sandy shoreline. We are thrilled to play a small part in the overall experience for summer campers.
John M. Reymann,
Chairman of the Reymann Foundation
The new pontoon boat is outfitted to accommodate campers and their equipment, and also includes a rear step for towing rafts for the adventurous boater. “Our campers have been thoroughly enjoying pontoon rides all summer long” comments Mella Castner, Director of Development at the Akron Rotary Camp.
Christened “Boatswain’s Call”, we can be sure that the pontoon’s captain will be heard above all the giggles and laughter as the boat cruises the picturesque Portage Lakes in Summit County, Ohio for decades to come.
